There are many ways your congregation could encourage participation in the ecumenical cycle of prayer, including prominently displaying a visual reminder on your website.

  • Share your experiences with congregational efforts at focusing prayer on a specific region of the world or cause for specific periods of time.
  • Would your congregation consider participating in the ecumenical cycle of prayer? Why or why not?
  • Does your denomination provide a resource that focuses prayer each day or each week (The Presbyterian – PCUSA – Mission Yearbook is one good example of this type of resource)?
