Make Change
Shaun King’s new book Make Change: How to Fight Injustice, Dismantle Systemic Oppression, and Own Our Future will inspire you to focus on a cause that matters to you, and commit to doing your part to facilitate real change. This one-of-a-kind memoir spans King’s entire life, offering insight into why he is as or more passionate and engaged in the work of justice today than ever. In just a few years time, King went from being on top of the world in middle school to being beaten so severely by a group of racists in high school that he was out of school for years to recover. During this time of recovery he discovered God, and began to find his voice. His journey after college includes serving as a high school teacher, pastor, communications director, journalist, activist, and co-founder of the Real Justice PAC.
