I’m a Preaching Justice Fellow! (#2137)

2024/07/19 By Greg

I’m excited to share that I’ve been selected to be a Preaching Justice Fellow for the 2024-2025 academic year.

About the Fellowship

The Center for Faith and Justice, a vibrant nationwide community of spiritual formation and theological education focused on intersection of faith and justice, in partnership with San Francisco Theological Seminary, and with support from Lilly Endowment has created a year-long cohort-based experience to empower clergy to amplify justice preaching and action within their congregations and communities.

The fellowship includes an online learning community, peer learning groups, workshops with subject matter experts, gatherings, research, and more. The majority of engagement happens online, with two in-person gatherings over the course of the year – in Minneapolis (Sep 12-14, 2024) and San Francisco (Jan 30-Feb 1, 2025).

The Announcement

Earlier this week, the Center announced the inaugural cohort of 26 preachers from across North America.

Coming Soon

I’m excited to learn from and with the fellows and faculty. And, I’m honored to be the sole participant serving in ministry in Texas.

I’ll share more about my experience throughout the year as I did when I was an Adese Fellow in 2018. To learn more about my experience in that social enterprise focused fellowship, check out

  • Spiritual Entrepreneurship (January 2018)
