Online worship is what many are calling the new normal.
Earlier today I asked my Facebook friends to share links to the online services they planned to participate in today.
I was overwhelmed by the response!
The following list is comprised of the first forty replies I received that included online English language services available on Facebook, YouTube, or the congregation’s website. While I recognize that many congregations provide worship on multiple platforms, I limited each congregation to a single worship link.
I’ve ordered the list by start time of the worship service (and adjusted all start times to Central Daylight Time) then in alphabetical order by name of congregation.

So What?
Considering that this list was sourced by my Facebook friends engaged enough with my content to comment, I am not surprised that 85% of the congregations are affiliated with Mainline Protestant denominations. I was, however, pleasantly surprised by the geographic diversity. The list includes one Canadian congregation and 39 American congregations, located in 16 states and Washington D.C.
While I won’t have time to check out all of these offerings, I plan to visit several. And, I’ll be intentional about varying geographic location and theological orientation.
I encourage you to set aside some time to experience online worship with at least one congregation you would likely never attend in person. And, I invite you to share the name of your congregation and information about how others can join in your online worship services.
