Top 10 Posts of All Time (#1769)

2018/12/23 By Greg

I started So What Faith back in 2009, and added Google analytics to the site in 2013.  Based on data gathered from 2013 to present the top all time posts are

  1. Pastoral Prayer – Love (2014)
  2. Prayers of the People – Youth Sunday (2009)
  3. 12 Marks of Convergence Christianity (2012)
  4. My Visit to Next Level Church (2012)
  5. Valentine’s Expectations (2013)
  6. Leaders Clear Obstacles (2015)
  7. Pulpit Plagiarism (2014)
  8. Review of Not a Fan (2011)
  9. Theology on Tap (2011)
  10. The Immigrants Creed (2017)

So What?

As a long time blogger I’m intrigued and surprised by what posts become the most popular.  Reviewing what made the top ten list I noted that

  • 8 of the top 10 posts were written during the period of 2011-2014. The outliers were early (2009) and late (2017).
  • Prayer ranks first and second yet only around 2.7% (47 out of 1771) of my posts have been focused on prayer.
  • The vast majority of my book reviews, recommendations and ratings have been positive, but the only book mention to make the list was one I’m not a fan of (Not a Fan)

So What Faith has evolved over the years, but has always been a site focused on conversations about matters of faith that matter. As we move into 2019, I would welcome hearing from you.  Let me know what content you’ve most appreciated in the past, and what you’d like to see in the future.
