The Opportunity
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that brings together two things many of my readers enjoy:
- life in sunny, warm, and fun Naples, FL in February; and
- Diana Butler Bass lecturing on and answering your questions about new ways to consider love, faith, spirituality and theology (including material from her forthcoming book: Grounded: Finding God’s Spirit in the Spirit of the Age);
for one unforgettable Valentine’s Day weekend. All are welcome!
Who is Diana Butler Bass?
Regular readers likely recognize Diana’s name. Her latest book, Christianity After Religion: The End of the Church and the Birth of a New Spiritual Awakening (2012), was named one of my top two books of 2012.
She is an author, speaker, and independent scholar specializing in American religion and culture. She is the author of eight books, including A People’s History of Christianity: The Other Side of the Story (2009), and the best-selling Christianity for the Rest of Us: How the Neighborhood Church is Transforming the Faith (2006). Previously she wrote a weekly column on American religion for the New York Times Syndicate, and was the Project Director of a national Lilly Endowment-funded study of mainline Protestant vitality.
