As I began to read more and more blogs and participate in social media, I wanted to create a site to share some of my thoughts. Sowhatfaith.com started one year ago today when I launched a shell of a website and a simple introduction:
Welcome to the site that continually asks the critical question, “So what?” when it comes to issues of faith. This is not the place for answers. It is a place to find encouragement for asking the important so what questions and responding with lives of radical discipleship that display a faith that matters.
The strongest component of my site in the first year is my blog. While the interval between posts has varied during different seasons, I have averaged roughly one post on a topic of interest and one book review a week. In total, I wrote 101 entries the first year including:
- 3 Series
- 23 articles about trends
- 48 book reviews
Since my goal was to create more than a blog, the site also includes additional pages:
- Adult Discipleship – materials I developed for classes I taught or facilitated
- Sermons – manuscripts and video
- Children and Youth Ministry
- About/Contact
So What?
How has sowhatfaith.com encouraged you to ask the important so what questions and to respond with a life of radical discipleship that displays a faith that matters?
