Doubling of Those Age 65 & Over

The United States Census Bureau projects that the number of those living the US aged 65 and over will double between 2010 and 2050.  Even when one accounts for the anticipated population growth, a significantly greater percentage of those living in the US in 2050 will be 65 or older when compared to current levels.
